Graduate Researcher - The Sound of Fractions, Virginia Tech

The Sound of Fractions is an online tool to help students who struggle with fractions to understand the entire system of fractions through music. I designed, developed, and implemented a study, of a full stack application with accompanying curriculum to enable students to tap their own rhythms and have audio processing transform their rhythms into mathematical graphical representations. I also designed and developed a data viewer to allow transparent and cross discipline investigation of the data.
